The Motorola E1 mobile phone mixes the mobile skills of Motorola with the music know-how behind iTunes®. In fact most people are already calling it the 'iTunes® phone' because it can synchronise your music collection with the aforementioned iPod-friendly program on your PC. Whether you're using headphones or the built-in stereo loudspeakers, this is the mobile MP3 music player that everyone will want in their pocket.
Motorola may have concentrated on the music but this doesn't mean the rest of the handset has been neglected. There's a camera (with flash) for taking pictures and recording video clips. There's plenty of storage space too, because a TransFlash memory card lets you expand the phone's memory for your favourite tunes, photos and videos.
You'll find a couple of games installed on the phone, although Java compatibility makes it easy for you to download and add more. Talking of downloads, you'll also find it easy to transfer files to and from your PC. The phone is supplied with a USB cable and has Bluetooth connectivity as well.
But it's the music that'll attract most people - and for a very good reason. This is the world's first mobile phone to work with iTunes® on your PC. You simply can't argue with that.
