Its practical and sporting design makes the new TEAC MP-270 player a winner, and not just for athletes: As a sports player, the MP-270 has rubberised side controls - this also protects from water spray. The stopwatch function is an incentive to peak performances, and with the pedometer you can even measure each individual step to your sporting success.The Player has a multicolour OSD display and a two-colour high-contrast OELD display. As well as the standard MP3 and WMA formats, the MP-270 also supports the DRM-9 format, frequently needed to play back music purchased on the Internet.
Thanks to ID3 Tag support, details of the current track such as artist, album, track number are shown on the display. An equaliser with five presets (jazz, classical, rock, pop or normal) is used to adjust the sound to the user’s preferred taste.
The running time of the battery is about 10 hours. On top of this, the TEAC “Sporty” is equipped with a USB 2.0 connection and a storage capacity of 512MB or 1GB. And while you’re out and about, the integrated microphone allows you to make convenient digital speech memos.
There’s no need to miss out on your favourite USW station either. The FM radio is already integrated, including a recording function in WMA format.
The TEAC MP-270 can be easily attached using the wrist band and belt clip which are included. These convert the mobile entertainer into a welcome companion for sport and leisure.
